Inspired by NGO work and skateboard culture, these projects are shaped by a close understanding of communities, subcultures and social contexts. Raphael’s willingness to consider new ideas, perspectives, and experiences allows him to build trust, communicate on equal terms and work with sensitivity from within rather than as an outsider. He brings this perspective into both storytelling and brand communication. Understanding how different communities read images and storys is a central part of that process.
