Raphael Foidl is a photographer and filmmaker working across portrait, culture and brand stories. Based in Mainz, Germany, he creates images and films shaped by people, place and context.
With a background in Time-Based Media (B.A.), he developed an understanding of how ideas, identities and narratives are translated into visual form. His work combines a clear conceptual approach with a strong sensitivity for people, resulting in imagery that feels grounded, precise and emotionally credible.
Raphael works with brands, organisations and individuals who want visual communication to feel human rather than generic. Whether in portraits, editorial contexts or commercial commissions, his focus lies in building images through trust, atmosphere and lived reality.
